| Chinese Community Educational PublicationsNorth America Chinese Educational Foundation sponsor and publish American Health Today as one of our Chinese-American community educational programs. The American Health Today is a Chinese magazine published timely and latest in depth articles on variety of modern health news tops, mainly written for general readers and health professionals in Chinese community who is seeking information of modern western society. The American Health Today’s editors committed themselves to a culture bridge between East and Western medicine society by introducing most abstruse Chinese Traditional Medicine concepts to western society as well. The American Health Today’s goals are: I, To make available to a broad medical audience clinical information with the depth, breadth, and validity needed to improve the practice of medicine. II, To compile a late-breaking medical news and information form a variety of sources to provide a comprehensive news resource for Chinese health professional society or general readers with interests III, To serve as a culture bridge between Eastern and Western health society by exchange the latest information among ‘Eastern’ and ‘Western’ medicine The American Health Today publish timely in depth articles on variety of health news. The American Health Today will publish and reprint mainly in United State. But The American Health Today Publishers’ Circle members will widely distribute the magazine to Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other Chinese communities through the world. Specific Aims Specific aims in support of our broad Chinese academic health scientific community integration goal: I. Establish organizational relationships that support and facilitate integrated access to health information, specifically embracing most well-known medical schools, the hospitals, the Health Sciences Library and Information Center. II. Expand the technical infrastructure including the network and related services. III. Create effective information retrieval for quality clinical, research and educational decision making. III. Promote the application of effective information technology in research, education, and clinical care. Ensure adequate core resources to support Chinese scientific community. IV. Identify, describe, and in partnership with other institutions, vendors and federal agencies, develop approaches to support the development of local, statewide, regional and national high qualified health care networks.
